VfL Bochum is losing one of its most popular players: Cristian Gamboa is leaving the club at his own request. The Costa Rican was working in the scouting department after his career and now wants to take on a new professional challenge.

What happens to Gamboa?

Gamboa rose to become a fan favorite in six years as a pro at VfL Bochum and played 141 competitive games for the Blau-Weißen. After his active career, he remained loyal to VfL and moved to the scouting department.
