VfL Bochum's managing director Ilja Kaenzig has opened the door for Bayern's Leon Goretzka to return to his hometown club. The midfielder could return after the Ruhrstadion renovation. "Leon made many people in Bochum proud. He will now play at the highest level once more before hopefully returning," said Kaenzig. Although it seems more likely that Goretzka will move abroad next, fans of Bochum will undoubtedly have high hopes for a comeback. The midfielder played a total of 36 games for Bochum in the 2012-13 season, contributing his share of 4 goals and 8 assists.
