VfL Bochum signs Owono-Darnell Keumo to professional contract: the DFB junior signed a long-term contract that will turn into a professional contract on his 18th birthday on October 1st. The left-sided player has been wearing the VfL jersey since the U13 and played 23 games for the U19 in the junior league last season. Sports director Dirk Dufner is convinced of Keumo's abilities: „Darnell brings all the prerequisites to make the leap to the top with us.“ Keumo himself is happy to be able to continue his way with VfL. In recent months, VfL Bochum has already secured several talents to strengthen the squad for the future. With Keumo, another young player is added who wants to make the leap into the professional field. VfL Bochum will continue to support Keumo on his way with the club. The 18-year-old will receive his professional contract on October 1st and can then officially play for VfL Bochum. VfL Bochum is confident that Keumo will play an important role in the team.
