VfL Bochum joins the new Bundesliga Talent Series

VfL Bochum is one of the 26 professional clubs that will participate in the newly created „Bundesliga Talent Series“ in the upcoming season. With clubs like Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt, Schalke 04 or Werder Bremen, a large part of the German youth elite is represented.

What is the Bundesliga Talent Series?

The Bundesliga Talent Series is intended to offer young players additional opportunities to play in the transition between youth and professional football.

Why is VfL Bochum participating?

For VfL Bochum, participation is much more than just another offer in the youth sector. VfL Bochum is currently in 10th place in the 2. Bundesliga, with 36 points from 29 games and a current form of WLLDW.

What does the future hold?

The introduction of the Talent Series is an important step for the further development of our young players, said Pablo Thiam, head of the VfL Bochum talent factory.
