VfL Bochum signs 18-year-old midfielder Ida Daedelow from Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Daedelow went through all the youth teams of Bayer 04 and won the German B-Junior Championship in 2023. In July 2024, she signed her first professional contract and made her debut in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga three months later. Ida Daedelow herself says: „I came to Bayer 04 at the age of eleven, spent my entire youth there, made many new friends, traveled to many countries and grew up.“ The native Cologne player took her first football steps at SC Blau-Weiß 06 Köln. Achim Feifel, Sports Director of the Bayer 04 women's team, says: „Ida has gone through all our youth teams and made the leap to the professional squad and the Bundesliga player.“ Daedelow will now move to second division club VfL Bochum 1848.
