VfL Bochum has signed Jean-Manuel Mbom from Viborg FF in Denmark. The 26-year-old receives a contract until June 30, 2029, and joins for free. Simon Zoller, Director of Licensed Football at VfL Bochum, is convinced of Mbom's abilities. Mbom can play both in the center on six or eight and as a right defender. The versatile Mbom played in the past, among other things, for SV Werder Bremen. For the Bremen team, Mbom played 23 times in the Bundesliga. Most recently, the former U21 national player played for three years in the first Danish league. For Viborg FF, Mbom played a total of 90 games.
