The Ultras Bochum are organizing the 13th Ostkurve Bochum Summer Cup. Fan clubs and fan organizations of VfL Bochum will compete against each other. The Summer Cup takes place on June 20th. The event is a popular meeting point for the Bochum fan scene. In addition to the sporting competition, the Summer Cup also offers a good opportunity to exchange information about current developments around VfL and the fan scene. The game will be played on the district sports ground of SV Germania Bochum-West at Pestalozzistraße 23 in Bochum. Admission is free. The Ultras Bochum 99 finished third last year. Now, the successor of the fan club „Die Hobbygärtner 420“ is being sought, which won the 2025 final with a 1:0 victory against the Munich Rebels. The organizing Ultras Bochum 99 explain: „In a few days, the ball will roll again at the Ostkurve Bochum Summer Cup. In addition to exciting matches on the pitch, you can also expect some special events off the pitch. There will also be an exclusive merchandise item that can only be obtained at the Summer Cup.“
